The Guest House at Hacienda del Cielo was originally designed as two separate homes, with spacious upstairs and downstairs living areas which are both totally self-contained, self-sufficient and very comfortable.

• BOTH upstairs and downstairs areas have the following:

• Two bedrooms with large closets, queen-sized beds and brand-new hi-quality mattresses;

• EACH bedroom has a private bathroom with quality fixtures and plentiful hot water pressure;

• Spacious, comfortable and “homey” living areas;

• Modern, fully-equipped kitchens;

• Laundry areas, with dryers;

• And of course, all linens, utensils and more are supplied;

The upstairs unit has a huge terrace that runs the full length of the building, facing the ocean and offering a breathtaking view. There is also a small “cooling pool” on the upper terrace ! Downstairs there is a smaller terrace with a different ocean view through the jungle.

The design and construction, by our resident developer/builder/designer with many years of successful experience in California, has become popular in the area which is known as “Haciendas del Mar”.

These are no “cheap cabinas”.....but we offer incredible VALUE for your vacation budget. We suggest a three-night minimum stay to really feel “settled in” and we even offer ONE NIGHT FREE when you stay for a week.

NOTES, CONDITIONS, and (non)”Add-ons”:

We know that Costa Rica is a wonderful place to visit ALL YEAR, (with maybe only one month of a true “rainy season” in Guanacaste) . . . MANY PEOPLE even prefer June or July ! And so, we do not offer two “seasonal rates” in an attempt to capitalize on tourists simply because the “winter” is more popular and we could charge more !

We do not “add-on” credit card servicing fees which would then allow us to offer you “cash discounts”. All payment is simply cash. U.S. Dollars or Costa Rican Colones. We must however, charge the standard “tourist and sales tax” of 16.4%.

Your room is guaranteed available simply based upon your “word” and your agreement to the arranged dates and rates.

You are responsible for the property, the structures and all furniture, appliances and all other itemssupplied for your comfort and convenience. A deposit equal to your stay is required at check-in to cover any damage . . . and cheerfully refunded in full at check-out barring any damage.

You are responsible for the safety of yourself and your friends, family, guests or visitors during your stay.

It’s simple, Costa Rica is not a dangerous place, just be cautious.

We welcome children of all ages. Please stress to them that this place is our home too. We have worked hard for years to prepare this place for guests. And everything here is a personal belonging of ours, so please respect and be careful of everything.
